There are so many things that my father (who is a professor of music in China) was amazed about. He noticed that I was very relaxed, using my body motions and arms - more legato and expressive. He said that the pieces I performed had a very different feeling and way from how the pieces are taught in China. Even easy pieces like Chopin’s Prelude in e minor touched him deeply. He also thinks that I had more inner thinking and feeling while playing the pieces. He said I would never have played like this if I had only studied in China.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to study piano (virtually) with Eve Wolf, a brilliant teacher and pianist. She has a deep knowledge of music and teaching and is able to simply and clearly explain complex musical concepts and techniques. Her approach is inspiring and motivating because it manages to be both detailed and holistic. She is kind, patient, encouraging, always positive, and enjoys teaching people of all ages and skill levels. She is articulate and uses humor and her wonderful imagination when exploring the intricacies of any particular work. Her teaching goes beyond the classroom. Eve has been teaching my son Gabriel for the past 7+ years.  Her teaching is an exceptional labor of love. Eve never loses sight of the fact that she´s teaching human beings and creates a deep human connection with her students.
